Community Caring
We listen to and learn about the needs of our community. We are working to build confidence, love and a trusting relationships
with all partners. We know that it is a challenging time for many and we are here to give a helping hand. Our aim is to craft and design programs that will Relief low income household, and improve living conditions throughout our community.
We believe stigmatization of the vulnerable individuals prevents many low income families from availing themselves of food and other basic aid when these are distributed through the traditional methods of public line ups at food banks or soup kitchens, preferring instead to endure their hardships in the privacy of their homes. Our responsive innovation is to develop a roster of such families and individuals, coupled with a list of items and related quantities each particular family or individual needs or desires. We then pack the supplies in nondescript packages for either discreet delivery or pickup, using an individualized appointment system. This helps address the effects of hardship in socioeconomic disadvantaged households in the community without the added burden of stigma and shame.
